Fan Club

"She's a fan of Chanel No.5. She thinks it scents like no other."

"He's a fan of Liverpool. No other club plays better."


There are several of its kind, so we compare. One excels, so we devote it. We are hence its fan. ---------------------(phrase 1)


1) There are several conditions to meet before applying phrase 1 into a case:
i) there are several of its kind? How do you differentiate?
ii) can you compare them? how?
iii) should you compare them?
iv) what is the consequence of comparing them?

If yes, how will they answer question i to iv?
